Brainstorm brings something a little more adventurous: rich semi-sweet chocolate, cane sugar, and a hint of fig jam from a single-origin, natural-process Bourbon varietal grown high in the mountains of El Salvador. The kind of cup that makes you stop mid-sip and think, "okay, wow."
Together, they cover your mornings, your afternoons, your guests who "aren't picky" and your coworkers who definitely are. Both roasted fresh in Northlake, TX on our Bellwether roaster — up to 87% fewer emissions than traditional gas roasters, because good coffee shouldn't cost the planet.

I’ve been really impressed with this bundle. Both coffees are incredibly fresh, smooth, and full of flavor without any bitterness. The quality is obvious from the first cup, and they brew consistently whether I’m making espresso or pour-over. The Brainstorm has become my go-to for mornings when I need to focus, while the Pioneer is a great everyday coffee with a rich, balanced profile. The packaging and shipping were excellent, and I’ll definitely be ordering from Function Coffee Co. again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing coffee.
